Hi there, Gabi here! 👋 I'm the designer, paper lover, and hands behind Daymaker.
After ten years running my own stationery shop in Newcastle, I’ve returned to the studio full time. These days, I’m focused on designing small-batch paper goods that are playful, purposeful, and made to be shared, and I’m now looking to partner with a small number of stockists who love good stationery as much as I do.
While I’ve stepped away from the shop counter, my heart is still firmly in bricks-and-mortar retail. Everything I design is shaped by my years on the floor, from the way our products are packaged, to how they sit on a shelf, to the types of designs customers return for season after season.
Whether you’re just up the road or a little further afield, I’d be so excited to work with you. Daymaker is already stocked in a small handful of beautiful spaces (see list), and I’d be thrilled to see our paper goods on your shelves too.

Each card and letter set begins at my desk or in collaboration with Australian artists, and is then printed in small batches by some of the country’s best trade printers.

Like your favourite fashion labels, we release new designs in seasonal drops — inspired by the tones, textures and trends we’re most drawn to. It keeps our range dynamic and shelf-worthy all year round.
Artist collaborations
Our Artist Investment Program supports emerging creatives through paid opportunities, practical experience, and exposure across our cards and writing paper range.
Created sustainability
We proudly manufacture almost all of our products in Australia, working with local printers and responsibly sourced paper. Sustainability is at the heart of what we do, and wherever possible we keep production close to home.
