Hi, I’m Gabi - designer, paper lover, and the hands behind Daymaker.

For the past 10 years, I co-ran a beloved stationery shop in Newcastle, Australia. It was a place filled with exquisite paper, beautiful design, and the joy of handwritten things. I spent those years curating, designing, and connecting with people who really get stationery - and now, I’m returning to what I love most: making.

Daymaker is my studio and creative home. I design cards, letter sets, and paper goods with a focus on pattern, play, and purpose - modern stationery that helps us connect more deeply with ourselves and with others.

Each piece starts at my desk or in collaboration with a local artist, and is printed in small batches right here in Australia using responsibly sourced materials and quality printing practices. We work closely with some of the country’s best trade printers to make sure everything feels just right in the hand.

At its heart, Daymaker is about keeping the art of correspondence alive - creating stationery that is beautiful to use, made to be shared, and designed to brighten the everyday.
